How to Apply

New Beginnings has a two-step intake process. The first step is to call New Beginnings to start the process. During the first intake, the potential resident comes to New Beginnings to meet with the staff to get general information about the program and to receive a tour of the facility. At that time, the potential resident is given the admissions paperwork, including the New Beginnings' resident application.

If the potential resident meets all admission requirements, then they are invited to New Beginnings for a second intake. During the second intake they are asked a series of questions that are designed to let staff know more about them, have a better understanding of their goals, and to give the applicant a better idea of what to expect in the program.

In order to ensure the success of residents at New Beginnings, each resident admission needs to be approved by the Social Workers and the Executive Director, and in certain circumstances by the Program Review Committee.
