Coming to New Beginnings, I was 16 years old and 14 weeks pregnant with no definite future.
I am a senior in high school, attending St. Cloud Technical College through PSEO. My major is Nursing Emphasis. I am now 17 years old with a three month old baby boy named Tayte Jaymes.
New Beginnings prepared me to be a better parent and helped me to become more responsible. The staff gave me the steps to take to make sure Tayte and I would have a successful future. They immediately made sure I had medical assistance, MFIP, WIC, cash assistance, and food stamps.
Monday through Thursday nights have designated times for education on anything from culture to nutrition. This program would be a great option to any woman faced with an unplanned pregnancy.
